JH&P appoints new communications and marketing head as AUM passes £3bn

Wealth manager James Hambro & Partners (JH&P) has appointed Alasdair Johnson as its Head of Communications & Marketing.

The announcement comes in the wake of the business breaking through the £3bn AUM mark and the launch last week of a rebrand, including new logo, external documentation and website.

Johnson, who was previously Marketing Director at Neptune Investment Management, said: “JH&P has seen remarkable growth since its launch just eight years ago and most of that has been driven by recommendations from existing clients. One of the things that enthused me about this role was the opportunity to work in a company that has such powerful and direct relationships with its clients and advisers.”

JH&P CEO Andy Steel said: “The past two years have been particularly exciting for us. We’ve moved to bigger offices, brought the staff headcount to over 90, established a strong adviser arm to the business and have just launched a refreshed brand image.
