Janine joined JH&P as Client Due Diligence Manager in January 2026, after more than twenty years in wealth management, financial crime prevention, and AML. Her earlier career included Senior Client Due Diligence Analyst at Canaccord, a range of operational and client facing roles at Collins Stewart, JM Finn & Co, Citibank Private Bank, and Mercantile Bank in South Africa, giving her a strong and well-rounded understanding of financial services operations. Janine also holds the ACAMS CTMA qualification and the ICA Certificate in Financial Crime Prevention.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and taking long walks with her dog, Bella. Janine feels inspired watching her children growing up and following their dreams. She believes that being able to see things through a child’s eyes when you are an adult is always a fresh outlook on what is important. She is also inspired by the Maya Angelou quote, ‘I’ve learnt that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.’ At JH&P, she enjoys how she can add value to the firm and build trusted relationships across all levels of the business.
