How do I see how much investments are worth today?
A combined total of all investments you have access to view can be found on the Home > Valuation page. Amending the Default View will allow you to see the market values at client, account or portfolio level. To view a further breakdown of holding values within a portfolio please visit the client’s portal and navigate to the holdings page.
What should I do if I have forgotten my password or memorable word?
If you require your password or memorable word to be reset, please contact JH&P.
How do I view a client’s portal information?
Within the Home > Valuation page click on the person icon to the right of a particular client and select ‘Visit’. Similarly, you can access a client’s portal via the Clients page by clicking on the three dots next to a client and using the ‘Visit’ button.
How can I see the portfolios which are included within an account?
Within the Home > Valuation page select the ‘Account’ and ‘Plan’ breakdown buttons to view the underlying portfolios within each account. Alternatively, you can visit an individual client’s portal and navigate to the accounts page where the underlying portfolios can be found within the Holdings tab on the left-hand side.
How do I export documents?
Documents can be downloaded against individual clients or on bulk. To do this, navigate to the client’s page and click the ‘Search’ button to bring up a list of all clients you have access to. Select the checkboxes next to each client whose documents you wish to download and click ‘Bulk Actions > Export Document‘ button in the top right. Here you will be able to select the folders you wish to export, i.e. Valuations or Tax Booklets, and filter by the date in which they were uploaded. Once done click ‘Confirm’.
How do I see the most recent transactions on a client?
Transactions which have taken place within a portfolio can be found across various pages when visiting the portal, including Accounts. To view more detailed historic transaction data, navigate to the holdings page and click into a particular holding. Please refer to the Transactions section of the guide or our ‘How To’ videos for more information.
How do I view performance?
When visiting a client, Performance information can be found within the Accounts page by selecting the account you wish to view and clicking into the performance tab. Please refer to our ‘How To’ videos for a more detailed run through of performance.
Is my data safe?
We take the security of your personal data very seriously and we use appropriate technologies and procedures to protect your personal information. We employ specialist data and cyber security consultants to advise us on appropriate data security policies, technologies and staff training programmes. We ensure safe processing by operating and maintaining physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to guard your personal information and we restrict access only to authorised personnel. We have extensive controls and mechanisms in place designed to detect, respond and recover in case of adverse events that may arise. The effectiveness of these safeguards is periodically tested.
What is Reporting Currency?
Reporting currency is the currency used across the Accounts and Investment Overview page. If an investment where the currency differs from reporting currency, the value in the native currency can be seen within the Summary tabs.
How can I see the Yield against a holding?
Within the Holdings page, navigate to the Detailed Valuation tab and click into the cog icon in the top right corner of the table. Here, you can add additional data points including Yield, Unit Cost etc.

How far back can I view data on the portal?
You can now view historic holdings and transactions back to January 2018. This also allows you to view the Market Value Over Time and Fund Look Through information for an account or portfolio at historical points between then and now. Please note, all values are displayed using the information available at the time the report is produced. Slight differences can occur with previous reports if adjustment are required, for instance to reflect dividend payments declared but not paid at the relevant date.
How far back can I view performance data?
Cumulative performance returns are available from inception up until the last month end, as well as other predefined time periods including 10Y, 5Y, 3Y, 1Y, 3M, and 1M.
How can I see the underlying holdings (i.e. within the James Hambro Harrier Fund)?
Navigate to the Holdings page and click the menu filter within the top right-hand corner. Select the relevant account/ portfolio which holds the harrier fund and ensure the ‘show underlying funds’ box is ticked. An updated valuation breakdown of the underlying holdings will then appear across both the Summary and Detailed pages. Please refer to our ‘How To Videos’ for further details.
