James Hambro & Partners has highlighted its standing in the wealth management industry with a clutch of award wins.
In October, for the second year in succession, it was named Discretionary Fund Manager of the Year by Investment Week. An award judged by a panel of senior industry experts who based their decision on independent performance data and investment culture.
At the Citywire Wealth Manager Investment Performance awards, also in October, James Hambro & Partners won in the Best Overall Medium Firm category. Judges based their decision on analysis of risk-adjusted performance and consistency of returns over a three-year period.
In February, it was presented with a gold award in the Balanced Portfolio class of the Portfolio Adviser wealth manager awards. The judging panel made their decision based on data and analysis from investment reporting firm Enhance Group.
A month later, the company was recognised at the Private Asset Management awards, taking the image and reputation title for its client, press and professional partner communications.
2016 also saw the firm shortlisted for the Boutique Investment Management prize at the Charity Times Awards, held in September – a title that it won last year for its bespoke asset management service for charitable organisations. The firm has developed expertise in enabling charities to insure their investment portfolios are ethically sound and do not conflict with their values.
