Baz joined JH&P as an Assistant Portfolio Manager in September 2025. Previously, he spent four years working in corporate finance, advising founders and private equity investors on M&A transactions in the technology and media sectors, and he also holds the CFA UK Investment Management Certificate.

Outside of work, Baz is a keen runner and enjoys balancing this with a love for cooking and all things food. Baz draws inspiration from Haruki Murakami, who took the risk of transforming his life from running a jazz bar to becoming a successful author. Murakami’s story has taught Baz that discipline and embracing change are instrumental to success. He strives to bring the same consistency and thoughtfulness to his work, believing that small, deliberate actions can create an exception client experience.
