Nicola joined JH&P as a Partner and Head of the Bristol office in May 2026, with over 30 years of experience in investment management. She previously worked at Rathbones, where she was Deputy Head of Rathbone Greenbank Investments and a Senior Investment Director. Earlier in her career, Nicola spent six years as Head of the Ethical Investment Division at Barclays Wealth Management and began her investment career at HSBC Investment Management (formerly James Capel).

Nicola brings deep expertise across sustainability and asset classes, with a strong focus on long-term, outcome-driven portfolio management. She is a member of JH&P’s Responsible Investment Committee, and holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics, an MSc in Corporate Governance and Ethics, and an MSc in Climate Change and Development. She is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Outside of work, Nicola enjoys an active and sporty family life with her husband and four sons. She particularly likes spending time outdoors, including hiking, running, walking, canoeing and scuba diving, exploring nature and wildlife.
