Austen joined JH&P in September 2023 as a Portfolio Manager and Head of Professional Advisor Services for the South West. Austen began his investment career in 2009 at Brooks Macdonald Investment Management, rising to become a Senior Investment Director and Head of the Cheltenham office. A highlight of Austen’s career was being put forward for the Citywire Top 40 under 40. Austen is a CFA charter holder and holds CISI Chartered Wealth Manager qualifications. In his spare time, Austen volunteers for his local PCC alongside boxing, going to the opera and spending time with his family.
