James Hambro & Partners is an independently-owned wealth manager. We set out with a vision to build a new kind of wealth manager that offers the benefits of an institutional approach to investing with detailed and personal service. Since our launch in 2010 we have become one of the UK’s fastest growing wealth managers. We now have over £5 billion of assets under management, our Head Office is in Pall Mall and we have recently opened offices in Leeds and Edinburgh.

Induction Programmes

All new hires are introduced to their teams before they join, and line managers play a key role in ensuring they settle in quickly and feel at home. A well-organised induction programme will give each new hire a good understanding of how the business works and fully integrate them into the firm.

Professional Development

All our employees are encouraged to develop and advance their careers at a pace that is appropriate for the individual. This will involve a number of training initiatives which include:

Performance Appraisals

Every employee participates in the annual performance process. Support is provided to manage the process to make sure each individual gets the most out of their appraisal. A Personal Development Plan is also developed at the same time to provide any additional support required such as training or mentoring.

Compensation is reviewed on an annual basis to ensure it remains competitive in conjunction with the annual appraisal process.

We are participating in the 10,000 Black Interns Programme for 2022. The programme aims to transform the horizons and prospects of young black people in the United Kingdom by offering paid work experience across a wide range of different industries.

We have registered our interest in the PIMFA and CISI School Leavers Programme for 2022. The aim of the programme is to help increase our gender and ethnic diversity within financial planning, financial and investment advice roles in wealth management.
