Patrick joined JH&P in 2020 to manage investment portfolios for charities, private clients and trusts. He’s also a member of the firm’s Equity and Fixed Income Teams. After graduating from Cambridge University, Patrick served six years in the British Army, completing several operational tours abroad. He then worked at an investment bank before joining Newton Investment Management. Prior to joining JH&P, Patrick headed up the Charities Team at Aberdeen Standard Capital (abrdn). He holds an MBA from London Business School and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. Patrick recently completed the Impact Investing Programme at Oxford’s Said Business School. He has also served as a trustee for several charities and on the Investment Committee of the country’s first dedicated children’s charity. Like the world around us, Patrick believes that the investment landscape is constantly changing – he finds making sense of it challenging and stimulating. For him, there is a solid motivation to help clients navigate uncertainty while also making the most of the existing opportunities. He’s inspired by genuine selflessness and by those who put the needs of others above themselves.
