James joined JH&P in 2013. He was named in Spear Magazine’s ‘Top 50’ list of high-net-worth wealth managers in each of the last seven years. In the publication’s latest list, he was listed as a Top Recommended wealth manager. He started his investment career in 1993 at Morgan Grenfell Asset Management before joining HSBC Investment Management to work as a Director and Team Leader with UK Private Clients. In 2007 he joined UBS Wealth Management as a Desk Head. James is inspired by the late, great Steve Jobs and lives by his quote, “Stay hungry, stay foolish.” In his spare time, and as an antidote to the rigours of industry regulation, James likes to write creative fiction.
